I live in Cleveland now. I did not grow up here, I’m a transplant. Cleveland is not New York City. And it doesn’t have to be. In fact, I’m glad it’s not and it’s not trying to be. I am glad, however, that the creative community here is growing, thriving, and supported. I’m excited to be contributing to it. My studio is in a small room that is part of a much larger garage. My studio mates are two American-made cars. Their good, quiet company makes me feel at home on the rust belt.
